Jacqueline Pearce-Dickens
Founder & Chief Executive

Jackie is passionate about supporting and getting recognition for farmers and growers who understand and protect environmental and public health. An experienced facilitator and trainer, she helps develop and deliver educational programmes, as well as being responsible for the operational management of the organisation.

Chris Aukland MRCVS
Director

A veterinary surgeon based in East Sussex, Chris has been using an integrated wholistic approach to his veterinary work for over thirty years. As Head of Livestock Health Programmes for WHAg he is dedicated to educating and supporting farmers to integrate natural health approaches into their herd health strategies.
Karen Seyersted Founder, Chair & Director

An integrated healthcare practitioner, Karen leads WHAg’s research team dedicated to investigating and evaluating alternative health practices to develop models that can be replicated for success.

Karin Mont
Director

Karin comes from a farming background and having successfully used alternative medicine on her own livestock, is deeply committed to supporting farmers in the use of sustainable systems of health.

Our Associates

Lawrence Woodward O.B.E.
Founder & Policy Advisor

A founder and director of the Organic Research Centre (ORC) for 30 years, Lawrence advises and speaks about the principles and methods of organic agriculture to a wide range of organisations. In 2001 he was awarded an O.B.E. for services to organic farming, having played a pivotal role in the strategic and practical development of the organic sector in the UK and internationally.

Pammy Riggs
Farmer and Author

Pammy and her husband ran Providence Farm in Devon for over 20 years, winning numerous awards including Organic Business of the Year. Pammy has taught a variety of courses around the UK, including the poultry–keeping course at River Cottage and is a published author.

Dr Leonard Faedo
Agronomist and Research Scientist

Leonardo is an Assistant Researcher at the Centre for Agroecology, Water & Resilience at Coventry University, a member of the Biodynamic Farming Research Group, and Editor of the Brazilian Journal of Agroecology.

Dr Lindsay Whistance
Senior Livestock Researcher, Organic Research Centre

Lindsay’s work focuses on farm animal behaviour, participatory research, health and welfare planning, and the role of trees in farming systems.

She’s been an advisor to Whole Health Agriculture since 2019 and is part of our steering group.

Amber Lawes-Johnson
Food Systems Researcher, UK Food Systems CDT

Food Systems Researcher, UK Food Systems CDT With a background in mixed farming, Amber brings experience from academic, NGO and policy work. Her PhD connects science, practice and policy to support sustainable beef and sheep systems.

Chris Aukland MRCVS – Head of Livestock Health Programmes
With over thirty years experience of using an holistic approach to veterinary practice and farm consultancy, Chris delivers programmes that educate and support farmers on integrating natural health approaches into their herd health strategies.
Jackie Pearce-Dickens – Head of Learning
An experienced mentor and teacher of farm and equine homeopathy, Jackie leads development of our Learning Centre courses and is passionate about supporting farmers to adopt and integrate whole-health/whole-farm systems.
Lynnie Hutchison – Training Lead & Advisor
Lynnie trains veterinary students in the use of homeopathy when they come to her farm for lambing experience. She also runs a local farm homeopathy support group in East Sussex with vet Chris Aukland, WHAg’s Head of Livestock Health Programmes.
Pammy Riggs – Farmer & Advisor
With over 30 years’ organic farming experience, winning awards for both business and poultry, Pammy has run courses at River Cottage, Le Manoir au Quat’ Saisons, Emerson College, and for the Devon Association of Smallholders
Kate Scott – Medical Herbalist & Farm Consultant
With over 25 years experience in farming and as a Medical Herbalist, Kate has a special interest in native British plants in pasture and ruminant health. Kate is passionate about teaching farmers how to boost health and immunity through the power of herbs and medicinal plants.
Tracey Simpson – Animal Homeopath & Dairy Farmer
Lifelong dairy farmer, Tracey share milks 700 cows. She started her career as a Veterinary Nurse and is now a qualified Animal Homeopath in her native New Zealand. She delivers talks and training on farm homeopathy all over the country.
